The First Baptist Church is a dynamic fellowship of Christians who choose to worship in the warmth of a sanctuary that was designed to focus on the preaching of God’s word. The congregation enjoys a style of worship that blends both traditional and contemporary elements.
First time worshipers are especially welcome, and often desire to return for more inspiration and enjoy the freedom and
flexibility to participate in community life of the church in ways that
are comfortable for them.
Our family-friendly schedule on Sunday mornings allows children to begin their experience in worship and then proceed to age-appropriate Sunday School classes. Adults continue in worship in the Baptist tradition of centering on a Biblically-based message that addresses life's spiritual concerns. While children are completing their Sunday School experience, informal ministry continues as adults gather for relaxed conversation and friendship over coffee and pastries in the Fellowship Café.
